In loving memory
Angela's Story
Angela was diagnosed with blood cancer and lived with it for five years. In that time her family learned what treatment actually costs a household. Not only the medical bills, but the missed shifts, the rent that comes due anyway, and the quiet arithmetic of keeping a life running while someone you love is fighting for theirs.
Over those five years, people showed up for them. Prayers, encouragement, and money when money was what was needed. That help gave the family room to focus on Angela instead of on the balance owed.
Angela passed away in 2022. Her family decided not to let what they learned end with her.
They built AES Cancer Foundation so other households facing blood cancer get what they got. People who show up with real help. Requests are reviewed case by case, based on need and available funds, and when you write, you reach Angela's family, not a call center.
Never Give Up.
Angela carried that spirit through five years of blood cancer. In every room, on every hard day, in every moment with the people she loved. These photos are how her family keeps it.
